Pregnant , please help !!!?

So I am nine months pregnant . 37 weeks . And I went and got a pelvic exam yesterday , or whatever it's called when they check your cervix . And I've had over 10 of these my whole pregnancy . And for the first time It made me bleed . I didn't think nothing of it because I heard it was normal . The lady that checked me said "Your cervix is closed , I could fit a finger tip in there " So I went home . I have not stopped bleeding since . And this was yesterday evening . It's not bad , i got some on my undies , and every time I wipe its brown and it looks like tiny chunks here and there . When I lift up from the toilet , I see There is tiny chuncks in the water and some brown sliding in the water . Is THIS MY MUCUS PLUG ? or what ? What does this mean ???
