I think i may have gotten my period, Help me !?

Today was just a regular day ! When i got home i went to go to the bathroom, and sitting down i realised marks on my undies that looked like blood spots. It is hard to tell though because i was wearing redish orange underwear, and i have had discharge for about a year, possibly more ! But i am not sure that if the first time you get your period, wouldn't more than a few drops come out ? And if it is my period, should i be expecting more today ?
