What phone should I use right now?

I have the Reality-samsung and the screen in peeling off in the corners but other than that it works pretty good. I also have an old Doubletake-samsung it works and is pretty good for beng 2 years old. I don't know what one to use. All my friends are saying take the older one for now, but my parents are saying keep the reality. I don't know. SOMEONE HELP ME PICK PLEASE!?! which one is better to us right now? Plus I'll only have it for 5 more months.
